| Description: |
An adoption support group for transracial/transcultural or special needs families. We meet monthly and sometimes more often. Most meetings are for the whole family but are sometimes dedicated to just the parents. New members are always most welcome. All families are encouraged to attend, whether married, single or non-traditional. |

| Activities: |
We have been to amusement parks, train rides, plays, the Children’s International Festival and the Morris Arboretum, along with swim clubs. We have had many gatherings at state parks. We find the children enjoy the outdoors so most of our meetings are outside during the warmer weather. In the colder months we meet indoors with activities for the kids and adults. We sometimes have educational meetings for the parents.
