I was Director of Admissions and Discharge Planning for Summit Institute in Israel, Ltd.
This residential treatment program was designed for treating disturbed adolescents and young adults who were being sent away for treatment to Israrel by their adoptive parents. The program had About 75% of the program population was from an adoptive background. I worked with the clinical team and the executive director on understand the dynamics of this situation and designing treatment approaches to help clients resolve their issues associated with the adoptive process.
