Adoption Training:   She has worked many years & has been in training with Joyce Pargo & the Center for Family Connections. Her areas of speciality are preparing families for adoption; working on issues of race & adoption with multi-racial families and families of color; living with open adoption; children’s developmental understanding of adoption; Issues of search & reunion; working with alternative families; post placement work with children & their families by birth & adoption; on-going issues of loss for birth & adoptive families; Individual couple therapy pre & post adoption; addressing adoption issues through the life cycle with individuals & families.

Conferences:   Adoption Forum, DVAC, SWAN, American Adoption Congress, Center for Family Connections intensive summer institute; JCFS adoption conferences. These are National, State * Local conferences over 17 years.
