We are a support/social group for families in the Greater Pittsburgh area who have adopted, or are in the process of adopting, from Guatemala.

The main objectives of the group are:

• Support each other throughout the adoption process
• Celebrate with each other when milestones are reached
• Enjoy all the wonderful children that we are bringing home
• Support charitable organizations in Guatemala

We rely on volunteer families to coordinate events. Our goal is to hold one event per month.

Recent activities include a day at the Children’s Museum, a trip to the Pittsburgh Zoo, Picnics and a Halloween party.

We use a Yahoo group to communicate. Once a member joins, an email can be sent to all group members by simply sending an email to the group address.

We also publish a newsletter several times a year.
