This support group is made up of families who have finalized adoptions – though we welcome waiting families to visit. Most of these families came to us through SWAN’s post perm program, but have stayed on well past finishing this program.

We meet the first Thursday of each month for a pizza party at the JFS office – 6:00-6:30. Then parents go to their meeting while the children are supervised by trained respite workers (college students usually) 6:30 - 8:00. We are all in the same building. These families are also on an email list for bi-monthly updates on adoption issues. Families who come in through the SWAN post perm program also have access to case management services and respite.
