Together as Adoptive Parents
Presents two trainings for Parents of Adoptive, Foster & Kinship Families with Tanya Williams-Bell
"Empowered, Not Weakened by Mental Illness"
This training will give family members an insight as to how all areas of a family’s life are impacted by a mental illness. Tanya Williams-Bell has personal experience living with a mate diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, and five of her children have been diagnosed with one or more of the following: Bipolar Disorder, Reactive Attachment Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Depression, Mood Disorder, Sexual Addiction and Attention Deficit Disorder.
Ms. Williams-Bell along with Parker Bell, her teenage son, will share how to navigate through the challenges of mental illness without shame...but courage.
"Sexually Abused Children Are Not The Only Victims"
We will examine the safety of all members of the family and community, as well as how to seek the correct professional help. You will leave this training understanding that the impact of sexual abuse does not stop with the victim.
