Strengthening Educational Skills Academic Support Services Diagnostic and Tutorial Services Group and Individual Programs
Psycho-Educational Evaluation Comprehensive psychological and educational testing is available to identify children at risk. Evaluations include assessment of cognitive, academic, perceptual-motor, social and emotional functioning.
Individual Educational Therapy Trained educators work as active partners with your child to utilize his/her strengths and find strategies to deal with weaknesses. Through this program the student gains an understanding of how he learns and the confidence to ensure academic success.
Remedial and Advanced Groups Ability level small groups of two to six students provide opportunities for students to develop skills and excel through interaction with other learners. Reading, writing, and mathematics groups are available, and each group is taught by an experienced certified teacher.
Reading Groups Reading Comprehension is developed through a literature based approach using a specific novel as the central theme.
Mathematics Groups Mathematics groups are organized around a specific skill to be mastered.
Writing Groups Writing groups covers both creative and report writing.
SAT Preparation Individual or group courses enable the student to improve his/her performance.
Home School Support Services Qualified educators partner with the parent to provide a portfolio evaluation and suggestions for continued academic growth in the home school environment. Standardized tests, as required by the state can also be administered each year providing additional input for helping the parent to structure the curriculum so that your child can reach his full academic potential.
