We are a non-profit, multi-racial adoptive, foster and kinship parent group. Most of our families have adopted children with special needs from the foster care system

 Our mission is to provide a support network among parents, to disseminate information and implement programs which promote the well-being of adoptive,foster and kinship families.

TAP believes that the adoption road should never be walked alone and that no adoptive parent or child should have to figure out where to find help.

We offer technical assistance to other support groups. We also help families with subsidy questions. We also offer: A quarterly newsletter Taproot, a web site; www.taplink.org, a Resource Manual, Informational meetings, Summer picnics, and Christmas Parties. We also recruit families to adopt children who are in the foster care system.     

TAP meets the fourth Saturday of every month except for July (our annual swim picnic), August (vacations) and December (Christmas Party). We hold our annual Walkathon in the fall.

We meet from 12:00 to 3:00 at Montgomery County Community College in Bluebell.  Meetings are in the Parkhouse building
