Pennsylvania Adoption Connections (PAC) is a federally funded program designed to assist adoptive families as they grow together.

The program is designed to help families with their individual needs. Since all families are unique, PAC provides assistance where each family needs it most. An Adoption Center staff member will visit with you to discuss your adoption experiences and introduce you to PAC, which offers the following support services:

  • Free family counseling - individually tailored counseling for the entire family
  • Camp Scholarships – partial or complete assistance to families who wish to send their adopted children to camp
  • Mentor families – a network of families rich in experience
  • Newsletter – semi-annual publication filled with information and real-life experience from the adoption community.
  • Resource Library – handouts, books, and videos available to adoptive family.
  • Social events – several annual events planned to bring adoptive families together through fun filled activities.
  • Support groups – a six-week series designed for the whole family.
  • Case management – coordination of support services
