Bald Eagle is a year-round boys camp school that utilizes positive peer group therapy in nature's setting to deal with youth problems. The camp is located on 400 acres of mountain land in Clinton County.
Children today are facing unprecedented challenges as they experience complex problems coming from negative peer pressure, disrupted or broken families. Many mistrust adults and have succumbed to negative influence that controls their lives.
Bald Eagle is designed to help meet these special challenges. Their purpose is to help the youth reach the positive goals they have set for themselves. They do this by providing Christian staff who are able to develop a close caring relationship with the boys.
Bald Eagle is a place where a boy can face his problems responsibly. Attitude and behavior problems are solved in a positive caring manner.
They believe that every boy wants to solve his problems, he just needs the right kind of encouragement from his group and leader. Daily plans are flexible enough to allow for as much time as necessary to solve problems. The small group is made up of other boys from different backgrounds, but with similar problems. With leadership from the chief, a boy's peer group provides the support and encouragement to make good choices in life.
