Dues cover cost of ten page quarterly newsletter and administrative costs.

We are an adoptive family support group for single parents and families who have adopted across international and/or racial boundaries. We are based in Pittsburgh, PA, but have member families from Cleveland, OH to Morgantown, WV and Indiana, PA. We stress cultural awareness of our children’s heritages, offer support to those in the adoption process, and financially help to support orphanages in Latin America.

Activities    

We publish an 8-10 page quarterly newsletter, which describes all of our upcoming events, announces arrivals home and referrals, and offers international recipes, as well as a "resources" section for adoptive parents. We hold one event each month, such as Halloween and holiday parties, children’s heritage day celebration, overnight event, summer picnic and pool party, Easter egg hunt, parents’ dinners with guest speakers, and so forth.
